He passed his 1st exam for the Court of Master Sommeliers! Basically, he passed the first level of four for pretentious wine snobs. It's like an Associates in Wine. There is also a Bachelor, Masters and PhD in wine. The next test is in October, and after looking at the suggested reading list...he better get to studying!
I am kidding about the whole wine snob thing. Sort of. I do admit that Jeff is wily. He found a great reason to buy and DRINK lots of wine. It is kind of a cool hobby though. It makes me wish that I liked wine more. He has tried to introduce me to many a wine, most of which make my mouth dry out and pucker. Not cool. I guess I will stick with my Franzia! :)
