If you have been keeping up with my blog (and really who hasn't??), I have been looking for a hobby. At this point though, I think that looking for a new hobby has become my hobby, so that's kinda serendipitous, I suppose. I have been looking up crafting projects, sewing how-to's, cooking blogs, decorating blogs, and GARDENING!! I will say that the gardening has been the most successful so far, but it just takes so long. You have to plant the flowers and wait for them to grow! I am a bit impatient with the whole backyard beautification process, but lately it has been very gratifying. Now that it is getting cooler I have several project that I have been putting off (flagstone patio around fire pit, outdoor kitchen, fall garden, two-tier rose garden) but now that its beautiful outside, I have no excuse. Except for the fact that I love naps and dvr'd tv, which makes my productive time a bit less productive. Damn you, Teen Mom!!
I will take some "before" pics of my projects and post them once I am able to take "after" pictures. Don't hold your breath...ok, hold your breath, maybe it will light the fire I need to get to work!
P.S. I keep getting comments to write blogs more often (I know, there are a lot of bored friends out there)...any suggestions on topics? Ella is good, but I dont want to be that weird mom who can only talk about her child...politics, religion?? Whiskey?? :)
P.P.S I suppose you can add blogging to my list of "productive time" killers. Oops.
