Romney must hate Rainbows.

Woah. Holy. Fu*k.

Seriously?? My super-intelligent and well-read brother-in-law (man that was a lot of hyphens) alerted my attention to this article. While reading further, as to gain more context, I found several other publications with the same story.

Let me just summarize. Romney really, really wants to continue to deny rights to a group of Americans simply based on whom they chose to love. We knew this, it just still stings. The depths to his lack of compassion and empathy is rather shocking. Here is a snip-it of the conversation:

GOODRIDGE: Governor Romney, tell me — what would you suggest I say to my 8 year-old daughter about why her mommy and her ma can’t get married because you, the governor of her state, are going to block our marriage?

ROMNEY: I don’t really care what you tell your adopted daughter. Why don’t you just tell her the same thing you’ve been telling her the last eight years.

Whaaaaaaat? Wowza.

Oh, and did I forget to meantion that in the same conversation Romney was quoted as saying, "I didn't know you had families."
