The Mother Company: The Safety Show

I am so excited to announce my involvement with a fabulous new concept- The Mother Company! Founded by some talented and innovative moms in California, The Mother Company is a comprehensive website featuring real-mom blogs, expert advice, parental wisdom and interactive videos for both kids and parents!

I know there are hundreds of web sites out there touting parental advice and recommendations, but what stole my heart was The Mother Company’s philosophy: Helping Parents Raise Good People.

Perfection. That sums up my own parenting philosophy so well. I want to raise good people. I want to bring some tiny people into this world in hopes they leave it better than they received it. I want my children to be kind, responsible, helpful and courteous. I know that they will learn their ABC’s and 123’s, but I want to ensure they learn to be good citizens of the world.

Good people. I like that. There are too many assholes in this world. But, I assume “There are too many assholes in this world, lets raise more good people” didn’t test very well.
So, join me and a couple hundred other active, involved, progressive parents at the first The Mother Company event in Dallas on Saturday,  November 16th at 10am in Addison at LOOK Cinemas! TMC will be debuting their newest video: The Safety Show.

The Safety Show, the latest installment in the multiple award-winning ‘Ruby’s Studio’ series, takes a modern, empowering approach to kids’ personal safety. Remember the old ‘Stranger Danger’ approach talking to kids about how to deal with safety? Well, it’s outdated. In most cases, it is a relative or friend of the family that knows the child, not the stranger, which poses the most dangerous threat. We need to update the conversation and The Mother Company would love for you to be a part of the discussion!

Bring the family out to meet Ruby of Ruby’s studio and watch a FREE viewing of The Safety Show! After the show there will be craft projects and book readings at the Barnes & Noble in Addison from 2-4pm.
RSVP on-line HERE and check out The Mother Company’s website for other awesome videos on bullying, empathy, friendship and emotions.

I am so excited about this opportunity! Please join me and help launch The Mother Company in Dallas! (maybe we can meet for margaritas after the program...you know, any excuse to hang with my favorite ladies!)

xoxo
