Perfectly selfish.

There are days when I wish that I could be selfish. I mean really selfish. My perfect selfish day would go like this...

10am: Wake up to a beautiful, sunny morning in the upper 60's-low 70's...birds sweetly chirping of course.
10:30am: A nice big cup of coffee with Baileys
11am: A long (really long...) hot shower
11:30am: Have enough time to actually fix my hair, followed by a really good hair day
Noon: A spa pedi with lavender massage oil and full foot rub while drinking a mimosa
1:30pm: Mid-day margarita lunch with the ladies, including El Palenque chips and salsa (oh, how I love thee)
4pm: Nap time with sweet baby Ella...but in my fantasy she sleeps as long as I want to.
6pm: Get a babysitter for Ella and Jeff and I get dressed for a night out!
7pm: Martinis with Jeff at the sushi bar
7:30: Miso soup, spicy salmon rolls, California rolls and sake
10pm: Meet up with some friends for drinks and darts (or just good conversation) at a bar and have a great time catching up.
1am: Arrive home to a sweet sleeping baby who sleeps the WHOLE night through, while she wears her "I love Mommy" jammies.

What does your perfectly selfish day sound like?

  1. Until the 6:00 pm part, I didn't know if this was Jeff or Meagan blogging...

    Perfect day:
10:30 am - roll out of bed and get to Burger King just in time to grab a breakfast item
12:00 pm - play golf, walking 18 holes so I get my exercise in
4:00 pm - Late lunch/early dinner at Carino's or grab something from Taco Cabana or Lucy's and eat while watching SportsCenter.
5:00 pm - shower, shave, get ready for a night on the town
7:00 pm - UTEP basketball game at the Haskins center. Grab a quick snack before enjoying the game from the press table. Talk some sports and see some friends throughout the game.
9:15 pm - Leave early and grab a quick bite and do some reading or catch up on a podcast before heading out.
    10:30 pm - Karaoke night!
1:00 am - wind down the night with a podcast, book, sportscenter highlights or a movie.
